How did I end up doing an internship there
Graviti is a dynamic technology company specializing in B2B services, dedicated to assisting clients in proficiently managing their datasets. Our focus lies in constructing robust infrastructure tailored for the evolving AI industry. At Graviti, we excel in the meticulous management, storage, and processing of diverse datasets, empowering enterprises to achieve success in their respective industries.
Taking a gap year for family reasons led me back to China. At the time, I realized that I needed more experience for career development. During my search for internship opportunities, I came across Graviti, whose website's simple and consistent design captivated me. Eager to contribute, I promptly applied and secured an internship as a UI designer. Through the seven months of the intern, I learned various design techniques as well as system principles under the guidance of my mentor, Ke Han.

Input Text Field Design
After becoming acquainted with Graviti's design system, I was tasked with expanding and introducing variations to the input boxes. The image on the left displays a portion of the input boxes designed for login, error messages, and verification codes.

Navigation and Dropdown Menus Redesign
Incorporating new features and products necessitated the addition of icons to our feature pages. I took charge of redesigning the layout, ensuring consistency, and incorporating interaction rules for a seamless user experience.
Footer Design with Email Subscription
In response to feedback from the product team and marketing department, we identified that incorporating an email subscription at the bottom of the homepage could enhance user conversion rate. I successfully implemented the email feature and optimized the footer to seamlessly accommodate the new email subscription functionality.

Customer Service Feature and Interaction Rules
As the marketing team directed its efforts towards promoting new products, I was tasked with aligning our services to meet their requirements. Specifically, I took on the responsibility of redesigning the customer support feature, incorporating the WeChat QR code scanning function, and refining the interface guidelines.

Mobile Page Footer Design
During the expansion of the company's desktop website, my role included crafting a responsive and consistent mobile version. I tailored both English and Chinese versions to align with the company's diverse scopes, accommodating variations such as login and non-login scenarios and web accessibility.
